Products

Products and solutions to meet your energy needs.

Understand your facility usage and utility bills.

Analytics platforms such as Utility Bill Management can help you manage carbon emissions data associated with your utilities, including energy, water, sewer, and diesel. Use it to generate valuable insights, such as baseline energy usage data and how energy efficiency upgrades and other options can reduce emissions.

Make energy efficiency upgrades

Energy efficiency upgrades, such as LED lighting and HVAC upgrades, can help reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions. With Constellation’s Efficiency Made Easy® (EME) program, you can implement those infrastructure improvements with no upfront capital.

Purchase EFECS and RECS

Emission-Free Energy Certificates (EFECs) represent the emission-free attributes of generating sources that do not emit greenhouse gases, such as solar, wind, nuclear and hydropower. At today’s prices, these are the most cost-effective certificates available. Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) represent the emission-free attributes of one megawatt hour (MWh) of electricity generated only by renewable power plants, such as from wind or solar power.

Explore renewable natural gas

Directly reduce greenhouse gas emissions resulting from natural gas consumption by matching your gas purchases with environmental attributes of renewable natural gas (RNG), derived from sources including landfills, wastewater treatment plants and commercial & agricultural waste digesters.

Leverage carbon offsets

Indirectly reduce such emissions through the purchase of carbon offsets, which represent a verified reduction in emissions of carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gas emissions made elsewhere through forestry, energy efficiency, industrial process improvements and carbon capture & sequestration projects.

Procure offsite renewables

Through Constellation Offsite Renewables solutions, you have the ability to go beyond purchasing certificates and integrate energy from specific renewable energy projects in your region. Purchase renewable energy from existing (CORe) or new-build (CORe+) generation, including solar and wind facilities, into load-following energy supply.

Pursue Hourly Carbon-Free Energy Matching of clean electricity with your load

By matching your electricity use with a local emission-free energy source in real time, you can go beyond other net-zero programs to allow you to eliminate the carbon impact of your operations and fully achieve zero emissions goals.

FTC Rule Banning Non-Competes On April 23, 2024, the FTC voted to issue its Final Rule banning non-competes in most cases. The Final Rule defines a non-compete as a term that prohibits, penalizes, or functions to prevent workers from: (i) seeking or accepting work with an entity after the conclusion of the worker’s employment; or (ii) operating a business after the conclusion of employment.  Specifically, employers are prohibited from: (i) entering into or attempting to enter into a non-compete clause; (ii) enforcing or attempting to enforce a non-compete clause; and (iii) representing that a worker is subject to a non-compete clause.  The Final Rule specifies that the prohibited term or condition can be in the form of a written contract...

When a National Competitor Comes Knocking: How to Prepare For and...

When a National Competitor Comes Knocking: How to Prepare For and Take Advantage of Competitor Buyouts We’ve all seen it happen - a local competitor in your area is bought out by one of the national competitors, leaving your company as one of the last - or the last - locally-owned provider(s). The time right after a local competitor is bought out is often the best time to strike. Their customers are already faced with a change, and the difference in service and products will be more noticeable at this time. Additionally, most customers of local textile rental companies are local companies themselves, so they understand and appreciate what working with local businesses has to offer. In the wake of...

CLS Member Spotlight Many companies have a story. Ours dates back to 1899. What started as Kalamazoo Laundry Company nearly 125 years ago has grown into the CLS of today. While our name and technology have changed, our underlying attention to quality and customer service has remained the same. In the beginning, we used horse-drawn carriages on unpaved roads to pick up and deliver soil. We initially served the personal laundry needs of households, but the  introduction of automatic washers and dryers soon made it more desirable for people to process their own laundry at home. In the 1920's, Kalamazoo Laundry Company experienced the decline in laundry and dry-cleaning services. As a result, we strategically expanded our services to suit...

WHAT IS THE FUTURE OF SELLING? by: Troy Harrison The sales profession is facing an entirely new type of competition. Whether it will be a game-changer is yet to be seen. The topic of the LinkedIn poll was, “Can salespeople be replaced by AI in five years?”  My instinctive reaction was probably the same as yours – “Of course not.”  Then, I did a little thinking before I answered.  And I realized that, yes, a lot of salespeople could be replaced by AI – not in five years, but RIGHT NOW.  That’s because their skills aren’t really any better than your basic chatbot – and therein lies a problem for those of us who care deeply about the role of...

Member Spotlight: Uniform Masters Originally Published in the Q4 issue of CSCNetwork News | link to flipbook: Click Here A gallon of gas was 15 cents in 1946 when Morris (Moe) Caen moved his new family from New Jersey to Memphis, Tennessee, with a Ford station wagon and plans to start his own company. Years later, that company would become Uniform Masters, but in its infancy, Mechanics Laundry opened its doors with no existing customers and did not operate off contracted rental/ lease services as we do today. That changed with the passing of Moe in the late 60s. At that time my father, Richard Caen returned from law school to begin his career in the fam- ily business. Richard...
